| Abstract: | Advancement of stem cells research represents surely a victory of the human intelligence. However, at the same time, it is a grave challenge on the human life, because it implies some grave ethical, legal and social issues on the human community as a whole as well as on each individual.We will discuss the status of human embryonic stem cell research in Japan with a very brief discussion on a draft guideline on clinical research of adult stem cells. |
