The Thinking of Gene Therapy for Familial Hypercholesterolemia

Familial hypercholesterolemia（ FH）is the most typical autosomal dominant inheritance disease and the main reason for premature coronary artery disease. With the further studies of human genomics, we have gradually realized that gene therapy is a prospective way to cure FH fundamentally. It is hopeful that in the near future when we proficiently use gene therapy we can cure gene-related diseases and make great advances of medical treatment.
