Medical philosophy generalizes the scientific achievements in medicine. It explores the fundamental laws in life activities and disease formation on the basis of clinical practices and research. Medical philosophy also studies dialectical laws and their applications in the medical field. Therefore, the study of the medical philosophy helps a doctor to better understand and solve various difficulties in his or her daily work of prevention diagnosis and treatment. In addition, medical philosophy helps a doctor to build correct clinical thinking, which will guide his or her medical practice.To discuss the application of the medical philosophy to clinical thinking of diagnosis and treatment of orthopedics diseases with close reference to the authors' extensive working experience.
