| Abstract: | The present study investigated the relationship between selfies and friendship quality,as well as its internal mechanism-the mediating role of perceived positive feedback and the moderating role of extraversion.490 college students complete a battery of questionnaires,including the Selfies questionnaire,the Positive Feedback Scale,Friendship Quality scale,and Extraversion.The results indicated that:(1)selfies positively predicted college students'friendship quality;(2)extraversion moderated the second path of mediation effect-perceived positive feedback mediating the relationship between selfies and college students'friendship quality.Specifically,perceived positive feedback only positively predicted friendship quality among individuals with low extraversion,not in people with high extraversion. |
