A probe into and analysis on the criminological idea contained in Zhouyi

The criminological idea embraced in Zhouyi almost relates to each academic focus of modern criminology research. This paper attempts to reveal the profound reason of crime from the aspects of the basic concepts of criminology, the objective inevitability of crime, the society, and the politics, etc. Besides, the paper analyzes the direct reason of crime from anthropology, biology, and psychology. It also indicates that the criminological countermeasure expounded in Zhouyi is to put prevention first, then to run a state by both law and morality. The theoretic framework of the idea is characterized with holisticity, dynamic-ness, and u-niqueness of understanding.
