| Abstract: | Through the analysis of the fate of Wang Bi's Interpretation of Analects in the history of Chinese thoughts, the present paper explores the changes and enlargements of the thoughts and meanings of Confucian classics when they were elucidated by the viewpoints of the Dao embodied in metaphysics (Xuanxue); and discusses all the questions brought about by those changes and enlargements. |
