Recent Approaches in Implicit Memory:Concepts, Experiments, and Models

This article reviewed some recent approaches in the field of implicit memory. The concept of implicit memory has been criticized for its ambiguous nature, and it is of great importance to redefine the concept more precisely. However, researchers continue using this term. Their recent experiments have questioned several previous conclusions about implicit memory, and some researches on implicit memory tried to connect implicit memory with other fields of unconscious phenomena. The modeling of implicit memory tends to transform from a qualitative nature to a quantitative nature.
