Five-year retrospective on stuttering theory, research, and therapy: 1982–1987

From time to time it is worthwhile looking back and reviewing significant developments in theorizing about, researching, and treating stuttering. Retrospectives of this type have been published in the Journal of Fluency Disorders for the periods 1972–1977, and 1977–1982. The present article is the third in this series of reviews and encompasses the period 1982–1987.
