| Affiliation: | William McGehee has been Director of Personnel Research and Training for Field-crest Mills, Division of Marshall Field &Company since January 1947. Prior to this he was professor and chairman of the Department of Psychology at the North Carolina State College, Raleigh, North Carolina, where he taught Industrial Psychology. During World War II he was attached to the Division of Aviation Psychology of the U. S. Navy. His assignments included research and developmental work in the training of the instrument flight instructors. Later he was member of team which collected combat criterion data on navy pilots. He is fellow of the American Psychological Association and is active in several of the sections. He is also member of the Southern Society for Philosophy and Psychology and is the current president of the North Carolina Psychological Association. |
