Abstract: | ![]() The goal of this special issue is to take the reader on mini “journeys” into the self and identities of members of a variety of cultural groups. Some themes that weave together the contributions to this special issue are the complexity of the development of self and racial identity among members of stigmatized ethnic groups, the dynamic construction of identity, and alternative conceptualizations of the independent and interdependent self-construals. |
