| Abstract: | This paper describes borderline phenomenon as it relates to occupational therapy treatment groups. The author discusses the genesis of the syndrome from the separation-individuation phase, its relation to adult functioning, subsequent treatment design and recommended therapeutic interventions. A case illustration will highlight these elements. |
