| Abstract: | Radiofrequency catheter ablation technique has been successfully used in the treatment of tachycardia arrhythmia in the end of last century. We reviewed the history of the technique development and concluded that it was the result of the integration of medicine and engineering. By analyzing this fact, we argue for the urgent need for integrated medical talent with engineering aptitude in medical education. |
